As part of our Intercultural Fortnight, we focused on learning about Australia. The children learned all about a very special bird called ‘The Kookaburra’. They learned the song ‘The Kookaburra sitting on the old Gum Tree’. They also made a Kookaburra using the papier maché method – some lovely photos below.
